Kazakh citizens were detained after a mass brawl in Russia

More than 30 participants were detained following the clash

The Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Saint Petersburg commented on the incident in the shift workers’ settlement of Ust-Luga, where a mass fight involving several hundred people took place, Astana TV reports.

According to the diplomatic mission, more than 30 participants were detained after the clash, including citizens of various countries. Most of those detained were later released after initial investigative procedures.

Some participants, including Kazakh citizens, received administrative arrest for 10 days. Three more Kazakh citizens remain under investigation. There were no casualties among Kazakh citizens, and no one required medical assistance.

The consulate held meetings with fellow citizens and is providing them with the necessary legal support. The situation in the settlement is currently stable. Investigative actions are ongoing, after which a legal assessment will be given to the actions of all participants in the conflict.

Despite the mass brawl, Kazakh citizens are safe, and the consulate is providing them with comprehensive support.
