Mass demonstrations have spread to more than 3,200 cities across all 50 states

A third wave of large-scale protests organized by the No Kings movement has taken place across the United States, targeting the policies of President Donald TRUMP. The demonstrations reached more than 3,200 cities in all 50 states, making them among the largest in recent times, according to Reuters.

According to organizers, the previous two waves had already drawn millions of participants, while the current campaign showed a surge in activity in smaller cities–nearly 40% higher compared to the movement’s first protests in June last year.

The largest rallies took place in New York City, Dallas, Philadelphia, and Washington, although most events occurred outside major metropolitan areas.

One of the key locations was a rally in Saint Paul, where thousands gathered outside the state capitol building. Participants held signs featuring photos of U.S. citizens Rene GOOD and Alex PRETTY, who died as a result of actions by federal immigration authorities.

Minnesota Governor Tim WALZ, addressing the crowd, said that the protesters are the “heart and soul” of the country, and that their resistance represents a fight for democracy and the rule of law.

Senator Bernie SANDERS also criticized the president, emphasizing that Americans would not allow the country to slide into authoritarianism or oligarchy. Musical support for the rally was provided by Bruce SPRINGSTEEN, who performed a song dedicated to the consequences of immigration policy.

In New York City, tens of thousands of people stretched across more than ten blocks of Manhattan. Actor Robert DE NIRO, one of the organizers, stated that no previous president had posed “such an existential threat to freedoms and security.”

In Dallas, protests were marked by clashes with counter-demonstrators, including a group linked to Proud Boys. Police detained several individuals following the confrontations.

Tensions also remained high in Los Angeles, where law enforcement used tear gas after some protesters began throwing objects toward a federal building. The Department of Homeland Security reported injuries among its personnel.

The protests are unfolding against the backdrop of declining approval ratings for Donald Trump – according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll, his rating has dropped to 36%, the lowest level since his return to the White House.

Movement organizers note that protest activity is intensifying ahead of the U.S. midterm congressional elections scheduled for November. Particularly notable is the rise in engagement in traditionally Republican states such as Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, and Utah.

An additional factor mobilizing protesters has been dissatisfaction with the ongoing military actions by the U.S. and Israel against Iran, which have been continuing for several weeks. Many participants say they oppose an escalation of the conflict and are calling for a reassessment of the country’s foreign policy.
