Artificial Rain to Be Implemented in Kazakhstan Precipitation Induction

Project to Launch on May 17 in Turkestan Region

Kazakhstan will begin using artificial rain technology. The precipitation induction project will be launched on May 17 in the Turkestan region, reports 24.kz.

 It will be carried out jointly with the UAE National Center of Meteorology. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart TOKAYEV received the Director General of this center and President of the UN World Meteorological Organization, Abdulla AL-MANDOUS.

The parties discussed issues of climate, water security, and the development of modern meteorological technologies. Special attention was given to early warning systems, modernization of meteorological services, exchange of scientific data, and water resource management.

The head of Kazakhstan confirmed the country’s readiness to further strengthen cooperation in this field.
