Nations League: Kazakhstan Somehow Fails to Beat the Faroe Islands

Kazakhstan national team plays its first match under a new head coach

The national teams of the Faroe Islands and Kazakhstan played out a draw in the opening round of the UEFA Nations League C group stage.

The match was held at Tórsvøllur Stadium in Tórshavn and ended in a 1-1 draw.

The Faroe Islands took the lead in the 15th minute through forward Oki SAMUELSEN. Kazakhstan responded in the 26th minute when defender Temirlan ERLANOV equalized.

Neither side managed to score again before the final whistle.
