Eight leading OPEC+ countries have kept in force the decision to suspend increases in oil production in the first quarter of 2026 and have maintained oil production quotas for February and March at the level of December 2025, Kazinform reports.

According to TASS, the parties to the agreement confirmed that 1.65 million barrels per day may be returned partially or fully, depending on changing market conditions, and in a gradual manner.

OPEC traditionally notes that countries will continue to assess market conditions and that a gradual increase in production may be suspended or canceled depending on changes in the market environment.

Thus, the oil production quota for February and March 2026 amounts to 9.574 million bpd for Russia, 10.103 million bpd for Saudi Arabia, 4.273 million bpd for Iraq, 3.411 million bpd for the UAE, 2.580 million bpd for Kuwait, 1.569 million bpd for Kazakhstan, 971 thousand bpd for Algeria, and 811 thousand bpd for Oman, excluding compensation for oil overproduction. These figures are the same as in December 2025 and January 2026.
