Dental clinics are undergoing mass inspections in Kazakhstan. The Ministry of Health reported that 260 clinics have already been inspected, with many found to be in violation of treatment standards.
According to First Vice Minister of Health Timur SULTANBAYEV, the inspections resulted in fines totaling 154 million tenge.
In the Zhambyl Region, 10 dental clinics were temporarily closed by court order.
Operations were also suspended in Almaty, the Almaty Region, and other regions.
Special attention is being paid to dental treatment for children and the use of anesthesia. The inspections were prompted by complaints and the active promotion of such services on social media. Authorities уточнили that there are currently no plans to change the rules governing treatment and anesthesia, but inspections are ongoing. The results will be announced later.
