The price of AI-95 gasoline in Uzbekistan has become the highest among Central Asian countries. This was reported by the GlobalPetrolPrices portal, which monitors fuel prices in different countries, according to Kazinform.
As of July 13, the average price of 1 liter of gasoline in Uzbekistan is $1.340. Although this figure is lower than the global average price of $1.47 per liter, it is significantly higher than in CIS countries and other states in the region.
For comparison: in Turkmenistan, one liter of gasoline costs only $0.43, which is one of the lowest rates in the world.
In Azerbaijan, the price is $0.676 per liter, in Kazakhstan — $0.687, in Russia — $0.924, in Belarus — $0.936, in Kyrgyzstan — $1.016, and in Afghanistan — $1.168.
The cheapest fuel in the world is recorded in Lebanon ($0.023), Iran ($0.029), and Venezuela ($0.035).
Countries with the highest gasoline prices include Hong Kong ($4.062), Malawi, Denmark, Israel, the Netherlands, Finland, Germany, Liechtenstein, Singapore, and Switzerland ($2.265).
