Entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan have begun calculating losses after the attacks on Wildberries warehouses in Russia. Preliminary data shows that more than 100 sellers were affected, with total damages already exceeding 1 billion tenge.

Currently, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken” is collecting information from those impacted. The final amount of losses will be determined after processing data from all regions.

Sellers lost not only goods stored in the damaged warehouses. Many also faced delivery delays, canceled orders, and disruptions in logistics. In addition, entrepreneurs appealed to the Ministry of Trade and Integration. It has been proposed to create a special working group involving government agencies, Wildberries, and entrepreneurs to assess damages, address compensation issues, and provide legal support to those affected.

As a reminder, in July, Wildberries warehouses in several Russian cities were attacked by drones. As a result, logistics facilities were damaged, affecting not only Russian but also Kazakh sellers who stored their goods there.
