Kazakhstan Ready to Continue Oil Supplies to Germany, Tokayev Says

The country accounts for around 13% of the European Union’s oil imports

Kazakhstan is ready to continue supplying oil to Germany within the limits of existing transportation capacities. President Kassym-Jomart TOKAYEV stated this in an article published in the German newspaper Handelsblatt during his official visit to Germany.

“In 2025, the volume of our oil supplies to Germany exceeded 10 million tons. We are ready to continue fulfilling this mission responsibly, taking into account the available transportation capabilities,” he said.

According to Tokayev, Kazakhstan has established itself as a reliable and stable supplier of energy resources to Europe. He noted that the country accounts for approximately 13% of the European Union’s oil imports and 20% of its natural uranium supplies.
