Positive dynamics are driven by the absence of customs barriers

In the first half of 2026, Russia increased exports of agricultural products to Kazakhstan to 4.6 million tons — 1.4 times more than a year earlier. Revenue from shipments grew by 24%, reaching $2.1 billion. By value of deliveries, Kazakhstan ranked third among the largest buyers of Russian food.

Key export revenues from supplies:

  • Wheat: over $213 million (up 4.3 times compared to the same period last year).
  • Sugar: $181 million (+14%).
  • Chocolate: $144 million (+27%).
  • Sunflower oil: $135 million (almost +50%).
  • Flour products: $133 million (+10%).

In addition to these products, growth was recorded in corn (10 times), bran (3 times), and barley (2.2 times). Deliveries of animal feed (+80%), chips (+25%), and pasta (+14%) also increased significantly.
