For 12 European countries, the main export product from Kazakhstan was crude oil. If petroleum products and petroleum gases are added, the group of oil-related goods covers 14 countries.
Mineral resources and metals became leading export items in 7 countries: refined copper in Turkey, chromium ores in Sweden, sulfur in Finland, tantalum in Austria, bismuth in Luxembourg, ferroalloys in Ukraine and North Macedonia.
Wheat was the primary export item to 4 countries: Azerbaijan, Georgia, Portugal, and Norway.
To Poland, the main export was coal, while to Russia it was radioactive elements and isotopes.

Some country-specific results are more unique: Kazakhstan exported flaxseed to Belgium and Estonia. In the 2025/26 season, Kazakhstan’s flax exports reached record levels.
For Andorra, the leading product was rapeseed/mustard oil. For the Czech Republic – industrial gases, and for Latvia – petroleum gases.
Thus, yes, oil dominates the map, but beyond it, Kazakhstan’s exports to Europe also include metals, wheat, seeds, gases, medicines, fish products, polymers, wood products, and equipment.
