A 14-year-old girl has died at the Kyzylorda Regional Multidisciplinary Children’s Hospital, Kazinform News Agency’s correspondent reports.

The 14-year-old city resident, who had reportedly fallen ill, was taken to the hospital by ambulance. She died in the intensive care unit without regaining consciousness.

According to the administration of the regional multidisciplinary children’s hospital, an investigation has been launched into the incident.

«Regarding this matter, the child’s parents have filed a complaint with the Medical and Pharmaceutical Control Committee. Accordingly, a review and inspection are currently underway,» the hospital said in a statement.
