Air Astana plane did not reach Astana and returned to Almaty

The incident concerns flight KC 641 on the Almaty–Astana route

An aircraft of Air Astana, heading from Almaty to Astana, was unable to land at the capital’s airport and returned back, reports a Kazinform correspondent.

According to the airline’s press service, the matter involves flight KC 641 on the Almaty–Astana route. — Due to unfavorable weather conditions in Astana and Karaganda, the crew decided not to perform the landing and returned to Almaty, — the statement reads.
