In 2025, exports of high-tech products and household appliances from Kazakhstan showed a clear regional orientation. The main sales markets were Russia and Central Asia, though distribution depended on the type of goods.

In the household appliances segment — including washing machines, dishwashers, and refrigeration equipment — the bulk of exports went to Central Asian countries. Their share in physical volumes ranged from 34.8% to 78.3%, depending on the product category.

This situation is linked to the geographical proximity of markets, similar regulatory requirements, and established logistics routes that simplify deliveries to neighboring states.

Meanwhile, products with a higher technological component were mainly exported to Russia. In categories such as computers, telephone equipment, and transmission devices, Russia’s share ranged from 82.6% to 91.4%.

Thus, Kazakhstan’s export model is shaped along two main lines: household appliances are actively supplied to Central Asian countries, while more complex technological goods primarily find demand in the Russian market.
